The sixteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP16) or UN Biodiversity Conference will be held from October 21 to November 1, 2024, in Cali, Colombia, known for its biodiversity.
Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is an international legally binding treaty to protect, conserve and manage biodiversity. The treaty was signed in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. It came into force on December 29, 1993.
